About the Role

The IT Application Support Analyst is responsible for providing support for business-critical applications and ensuring that they operate smoothly and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting application issues, assisting and supporting end users, to ensure the continuous availability of applications used by the organization. The IT Application Support Analyst will work closely with other IT teams, business units, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements to enhance application performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and Maintain – Managing User maintenance, Service requests and incident resolution
  • Governance - Being the custodian for the auditable processes, including establishing processes and ensure that they are adhered to.
  • Enhance and Improve – Work collaboratively with the wider IT and business team to drive continuous service improvement.
  • Service and Practice relationships – Build relationships with key suppliers and the wider Group IT function.
  • System Monitoring and Performance Optimization – Ensure the applications are running optimally.

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience of application support and administration
  • Experience of working within a system service environment
  • Process Design

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure that resolutions are delivered first time
  • Ability to work individually and also within a team
  • Will have problem-solving and a can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
