Assistant Finance Business Partner
Permanent role 39 hours per week
Location: Hybrid role (Handforth office and WFH)
Report into: Operations Finance Manager
Salary : £32k – 38k
We are recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner, this is a hybrid role, in part based at our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire). Reporting into the Finance Manager and working as part of our knowledgeable and experienced team.

Key responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of various weekly financial and non-financial reporting to provide timely and accurate information to key stakeholders.
- Support the continual improvement of finance reporting, unlocking new efficiencies and process improvements to enhance the service provided to our stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Operational and Commercial finance teams to model / build / support / present / input the formal Business Plan, Reforecast and periodic risks and opps.
- Ad-hoc analysis: Provide support and challenge to relevant Stakeholders including any ad-hoc requests for data and analysis.
- Responsibility for periodic management account preparation including accrual and prepayment journals along with board slide preparation; understanding variances and clearly explaining to non-financial colleagues.
- Responsibility of relevant balance sheets on a periodic basis to show strong financial control.
- Preparing Audit level information for the relevant finance teams during our quarterly Audit process.
Skills required;
- You will have begun a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- You will have previous experience working in a finance function.
- You will have a high attention to detail.
- You will have the flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing commercial environment.
- You will be a strong team player with the ability to work with other teams to build strong collaborative relationships.
- You will have strong Excel skills with experience of using Vlookups, Sumifs, pivot tables and graphs.
- Experience using SAP or equivalent and Power BI desirable but not essential.
