Assistant Management Accountant - 12 Month FTC

About the Role
We are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant (12-month maternity cover) to support the Vet Group finance team. Your primary responsibility will be sales ledger, period end processes and central billing. You will also support with any ad hoc queries and audit requests.
Roles and Responsibilities
Sales ledger / Recharges
- Invoicing to Vet Practices, Pets at Home and ad hoc third-party
- Recharges between Vet Practices, Pets at Home, and Vet Group
- Preparation and reconciliation of sales ledger period reports
- Review and support with resolution of outstanding third-party balances
Periodic accounting
- Period end posting of journals
- Processing of fee income using the SAP BOT.
- Point of contact for Pets at Home intercompany recharge account
- Support Pets at Home Central Billing process
Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Ownership of selected balance sheet reconciliations on a period basis
About You
Educational Qualifications:
- Preferred AAT (part or qualified)
Personal Attributes
- Technical ability and exposure to account reconciliations
- Experience in managing credit control and customer relations.
- Previous experience within a finance environment
- Excel skills are essential.
- Initiative-taking and articulate with effective communication and people skills.
