About the role

At Pets at Home, we’re looking for a Systems Trainer to support the rollout of our new veterinary practice management system, Provet, across our nationwide network of practices.

As part of our Development & Implementation team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our veterinary teams are fully prepared for a smooth and successful transition. From delivering engaging training sessions to supporting go-live activities, you’ll be a trusted partner throughout the journey.

This role is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract aligned to the project timeline and is field-based, with regular travel and overnight stays required.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to veterinary practice teams across the UK
• Support go-live activities and provide on-the-ground coaching post-implementation
• Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, communications and setup
• Build strong working relationships with Practice Managers, Owners and project stakeholders
• Act as a positive ambassador for Pets at Home throughout the rollout
• Travel extensively (up to 4 days per week, including overnight stays)

What we’re looking for

• Experience working in a veterinary practice environment
• Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills
• A calm, confident and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Training experience and/or knowledge of RxWorks (desirable)
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively

What you need to know

• Field-based role covering Central and South England (ideal home location within this region)
• Extensive travel required (up to 4 days per week with overnight stays)
