About the role
Are you passionate about helping others embrace change and feel confident using new technology?
At Pets at Home, we’re looking for a Systems Trainer to support the rollout of our new veterinary practice management system, Provet, across our nationwide network of practices.
As part of our Development & Implementation team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our veterinary teams are fully prepared for a smooth and successful transition. From delivering engaging training sessions to supporting go-live activities, you’ll be a trusted partner throughout the journey.
This role is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract aligned to the project timeline and is field-based, with regular travel and overnight stays required.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to veterinary practice teams across the UK
- Support go-live activities and provide on-the-ground coaching post-implementation
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, communications and setup
- Build strong working relationships with Practice Managers, Owners and project stakeholders
- Act as a positive ambassador for Pets at Home throughout the rollout
- Travel extensively (up to 4 days per week, including overnight stays)
What we’re looking for
- Experience working in a veterinary practice environment
- Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills
- A calm, confident and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Training experience and/or knowledge of RxWorks (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
What you need to know
- Field-based role covering Central and South England (ideal home location within this region)
- Extensive travel required (up to 4 days per week with overnight stays)
- Company car provided
