About the role

We’re looking for a creative, data‑driven Visual Merchandiser to join our high‑energy Visual Merchandising team. In this role, you’ll analyse customer, product and performance data to build merchandising range plans and planograms that land brilliantly in our stores. Your work will help us maximise space, drive sales, and deliver commercial strategies that delight our customers.

You’ll work collaboratively with buying, supply, marketing, store planning and suppliers to bring ranges to life — ensuring every display is logical, efficient and customer‑focused.

What you’ll be doing

Range & planogram delivery

  • Create accurate, logical and customer‑led planograms and store briefs
  • Analyse data, trends and insight to maximise space and drive sales
  • Present proposals to cross‑functional teams
  • Organise and run live product builds to optimise layouts
  • Manage multiple projects to hit key critical path milestones

Data, accuracy & analysis

  • Ensure all reviews and initiatives land right first time
  • Spot and resolve issues before they reach stores
  • Provide accurate analysis to support decision‑making
  • Use data effectively to guide ranging decisions

Stakeholder engagement

  • Build strong relationships with buying, marketing, supply and wider teams
  • Work collaboratively to shape category and ranging strategies
  • Represent the merchandising function as a positive ambassador
  • Promote best‑practice ways of working and support capability development

 

Key skills & experience

Essential

  • Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and clear, structured thinking
  • Experience using space planning tools (e.g., JDA, Spaceman)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Experience in FMCG or retail
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Additional experience with Spaceman software

 

Key working relationships

  • Internal: Buyers, Supply Analysts, Marketing, Merchandising, Store Planning
  • External: Trading suppliers
