  • Use analytics tools to understand the full customer journey from entry point to checkout.
  • Continuously optimise the customer journey so shoppers can easily navigate categories, boosting conversion and profitable sales.
  • Own and develop category taxonomy, filters, and facets — ensuring they stay aligned with new product launches and emerging trends.
  • Analyse and improve onsite search functionality to enhance product discoverability and user experience.
  • Work with campaign and content teams to optimise landing pages and promotional content for relevance and performance.
  • Ensure product placement, banners, and category structures are fully optimised to drive engagement and sales.
  • Support the Ecommerce Trading Manager with delivering the trading strategy across your categories.
  • Monitor daily and weekly performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with trading, buying, and marketing teams to understand new ranges, target audiences, and commercial objectives.
  • Work with merchandising and supply teams to optimise stock levels and allocation.
  • Partner with content and design teams to deliver engaging, conversion‑focused onsite content.
  • Optimise onsite search terms, navigation pathways, and filters to make products easy to find.
  • Work closely with the Optimisation team to identify opportunities to improve conversion and AOV through cross‑sells, recommendations, and enhanced PDP content.
  • Track and analyse key analytics (e.g., PLP‑to‑PDP rates, search results performance, bounce rates) and provide actionable insights.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to support optimisation strategies.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product ranges, feeding insights into trading and buying teams.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports using tools such as Power BI and Google Analytics.
  • Track core KPIs including sessions, conversion, AOV, and revenue, sharing insights with the Digital Trading Manager.
  • Support with performance reviews, reforecasting, and ensuring data accuracy in collaboration with Analytics and Finance teams.
  • Liaise with cross‑functional teams (Buying, Marketing, CRM, Optimisation, Content) to deliver category plans.
  • Work with Product Upload and Digital Operations to ensure products go live on time with accurate information.
  • Attend cross‑functional trade meetings, providing supporting analysis and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
