About us
Vets for Pets Newtownards exists to build a happy and skilled veterinary team that does good work for good people. We work hard every day to help advise our clients about what is in the best interest of their pets so they can make informed choices and give them the best chance of living a life free from pain and disease.
The Clinic has been established for 9 years and you would be joining the practice at an exciting time as we have an expanding team and client base as well as a new management team who are actively looking to make the clinic one of the happiest places to work in Northern Ireland.
About The Role
The role of Client Care Advisor in Vets for Pets Newtownards is one of the most important in our team. Our current team of three Client Care Advisors are responsible for the debt management of the practice, organising staff rotas, creating social media content, banking, handling of pet insurance claims, organising the diary, collecting payments, maintaining stock levels, booking appointments and operations as well as managing our busy phone lines. As a maternity cover role you would be expected to help in all of these areas as well as add to our wonderful, growing, workplace culture.
We are looking for a candidate with some experience of working as a veterinary client care advisor or someone who has worked in a very public facing job before. This is a 12 month contract ideally starting in August 2026 for around 15 hours a week with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota from 8.30am-12 pm. We require someone who is flexible to work evenings until 7pm.
The salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience.
Given the growing nature of the practice it is likely there will be an opportunity to continue on in the practice after the maternity role is completed.
Other Benefits
In return, we offer such benefits as 20% discount at the Vet Group, Pets at Home and the Groom Room, access to discounts and cashbacks, in-house career development opportunities, pension and holiday allowance.
We are based in Newtownards town centre, with easy commuting options to Belfast by car or bus.
Location: BT23 8NN
