If you enjoy delivering excellent service and working as part of a supportive team, we have the perfect opportunity for you at our Huddersfield Vets for Pets practice.

What your typical day will look like:

  • Your focus will be to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the very best care for their pets, acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the wider practice team will be central to your success.
  • You will ensure every client receives outstanding service during their visit, leaving satisfied and confident they will return.
  • You will greet clients warmly, offering support, guidance, and expertise, while confidently managing payments and future bookings.
  • You will help coordinate the smooth running of day-to-day practice operations using our online booking system, so strong computer literacy is essential.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the reception and all practice areas are always maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and adhere to local policies within the surgery

This is a part-time role working 25.5 hours per week, between 8:30am and 7:00pm, with a salary of up to £12.90 per hour.

  • You are able to handle a range of situations, from supporting clients through difficult news to sharing the excitement of a new puppy’s first visit.
  • Your personality helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere within the practice alongside your colleagues.
