What you'll be doing:

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who visits the practice. Acting as the link between our clients and clinical team, you'll ensure every interaction reflects the high standards of care we pride ourselves on.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and supporting clients throughout their visit.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and your colleagues.
  • Greeting clients warmly, providing guidance and advice on practice services, and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Managing appointments, payments, and future bookings with confidence and professionalism.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using our online booking system.
  • Creating a positive experience that leaves clients feeling valued and confident in the care their pets receive.

We're looking for someone who is friendly, organised, and genuinely enjoys helping people and their pets.

You'll be:

  • A welcoming and approachable presence for clients and their pets.
  • Confident in communicating information about our services and promoting additional offerings where appropriate.
  • Calm, compassionate, and attentive to the needs of clients, especially during sensitive situations.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated to provide the highest level of customer care.
  • Comfortable handling a variety of situations, from supporting clients through difficult news to celebrating the excitement of a new puppy’s first visit.
  • A positive team player who helps create a warm and friendly atmosphere within the practice.

Hours and Salary:

This is a part-time position, working up to 24 hours per week.

The role includes a mixture of early and late shifts:

  • Early shifts starting at 8:15am
  • Late shifts finishing at 7:15pm
  • 1 in 4 weekends

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (pro rata)
