Insurance Processor

We are looking for an Insurance Administrator to join our team at Romford Vets for pets.
If you enjoy processes and detail, and love giving great customer service whilst working as part of a team, then we have just the opportunity for you!
The role involves processing our client’s insurance claims, liaising with insurance companies and the clients themselves regarding their claims. You’ll be working alongside our Client Care Advisors and Clinical Team to ensure claims are completed speedily for our clients.
Some of the responsibilities and duties that can be expected:
- Reviewing a clinical condition and patient history to assess if a direct claim can be authorised.
- Processing direct and indirect insurance claims.
- Informing owners of the progress with their claims
- Working with insurance companies.
We are looking for someone who understands the need for attention to detail, is able to multitask, has good communication skills and works well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice is ideal but not essential
- Previous experience in the pet insurance industry is ideal but not essential
- You’ll need good communication skills, both verbal and written, for communicating with our clients.
- You’ll be detail orientated, with good mathematical and analytical skills. Loves processes and be good working in a team or on your own

This role is part time with hours over Monday to Friday only.
