About Us:

Barnsley Vets for Pets Hospital is an outstanding Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic, providing comprehensive 24/7 care with a dedicated on-site team. Established in 2002, our facility has evolved into a centre of excellence, equipped with advanced medical technologies, including a CT scanner, rigid and flexible endoscopes, and ultrasound machines. We offer a broad spectrum of services such as neurosurgery, orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, alongside our first-opinion practice. Our commitment to exceptional service is reflected in our four outstanding RCVS awards.

Our team comprises 15 Veterinary Surgeons (including our own out-of-hours team), 17 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), 3 Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), 5 Animal Care Assistants (ACAs) and a proficient non-clinical support team. We are united by a passion for delivering the highest standards of care, managing both general and referral cases within the same hospital to ensure seamless, end-to-end patient care.

About the Role:

To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Whether you’re a newly qualified or experienced nurse looking for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a Full Time role working 7 days on 7 days off from 7:15pm to 7:30am.
