We are looking for a newly qualified or early-career RVN to join our nursing team in a modern, developing first opinion practice.

This is a role where you will be supported to build confidence, develop your clinical skills properly, and become part of a team that values high standards and continuous improvement.

You will have the opportunity to develop skills in:

  • Nurse consultations and triage
  • Anaesthesia and theatre nursing
  • Multiparameter monitoring (ECG, capnography, blood pressure)
  • Inpatient care and recovery
  • Schedule 3 procedures
  • Dental radiography and full dental workflows
  • Multimodal analgesia and local anaesthetic techniques

We are also continuing to develop:

  • Point of care ultrasound within the nursing team
  • AI supported tools including HT Vista
  • AI assisted clinical note taking

This is a practice where nurses are encouraged to use and develop their skills properly.

The practice

  • Recently extended, modern site
  • 5 consult rooms and 2 theatres
  • Dedicated recovery area
  • Study area and large staff room
  • Visiting cardiology and imaging support
  • Strong clinical team including CertAVP
  • Caseload including advanced soft tissue and orthopaedics

  • Supportive and approachable nursing team
  • Experienced clinical leadership
  • Active student nurse involvement
  • Regular nurse meetings and clinical discussions
  • Positive culture focused on development and teamwork

Work-life balance

  • 40 hours per week (including a paid 30 minute lunch break)
  • No out of hours
  • No Sundays
  • No overnight inpatient checks
  • Overtime is recognised and paid or taken as time off in lieu

Development

  • CPD fully supported
  • Certificates actively encouraged
  • £750 CPD allowance with paid CPD time
  • Strong culture of mentoring and clinical discussion
