Nancy, the Practice Owner, celebrates an incredible 10 years with the practice this year and took on the exciting new role of owner last year. This is a thrilling time to join the team, as Nancy is not only growing the practice but also leading it through an upcoming relaunch and rebrand. You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive team who are passionate about being at the heart of the local community. The team consists of 3 Vets, 2 qualified RVNs including Practice Owner Nancy, an SVN who is due to qualify, a VCA, 4 receptionists, and of course not forgetting our 2 office dogs who are always around for some cuddles when needed!
The practice is set in a town within the beautiful Northamptonshire County. Just a 5-minute drive and you’re in the rural countryside. We have lots of amazing country parks dotted throughout the town and area. Perfect for clearing your head, opening your lungs, and walking 4 legged friends too. We are a fast paced and busy surgery, however with our strong dedicated team there isn’t anything we haven't and cannot accomplish
About you and the role
You’ll help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about, the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. They key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
This role will suit someone who has a passion for consults and running their own nurse clinics. Whilst you will still be involved with theatre, we’re looking for someone who will really drive our nurse clinics up!
The role will be full time working 40 hours a week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am – 6pm. We are in a fortunate position where we are able to offer you some flexibility as to how your hours and shifts are worked, whether you’re looking for a 4 day week or some earlier finishes, we invite you to come and talk to us about what works for you!
