"Pollokshaws Vets4Pets is a warm, welcoming practice, with an extremely friendly team who all fully support one another. The whole team are well looked after here, (I love that the practice closes over lunchtime to allow staff the opportunity to sit together) the diary is well managed and adequate time is given for appointments and surgeries. The premises are spotlessly clean and extremely organised, and the space is well managed. I am a locum Veterinary Nurse, who has done shifts at Pollokshaws when needed. The practice is actually further away than I would normally travel for work, but it is a testament to how much I enjoyed working here that I am happy to do so!" Suzanne Lennie RVN

We are a friendly and inclusive team who genuinely value each other and enjoy working together.  We take pride in building strong relationships with our clients and in delivering the highest standards of patient care.

You’ll be working alongside 3 RVNs rotating through theatre, inpatient care and nurse consult duties. We are a training practice and pride ourselves on growing future talent and supporting our student nurses through their course. We have a team of Receptionists who work out front, so you are freed up to carry out your nursing role fully and we will encourage and support clinical interests you may have.

This role is a part-time position working Mondays and Wednesdays 8.30-7pm plus 1 in 4 Saturdays in addition to this.

The practice has been independently run by Michelle for over 10 years. She is supported by Lucy, a highly experienced Head RVN, and a fantastic team who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service.

The practice is purpose-built and located inside a busy Pets At Home store in the south side of Glasgow, close to a great selection of local amenities and well-placed for transport links into the city. Our surgery is equipped with theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and laboratory facilities, as well as 3 consulting rooms and separate dog, cat and isolation wards.
