Based on the busy Preston Capitol Centre Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, we can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as boasting some state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of onsite parking. You will be joining an existing team of 6 vets, 8 Nurses 5 VCA’s and 5 CCA’s.

About the role: 
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, range of consultations and discharging patients. Assistance from VCAs and an SVN with turning around theatre, patient prep.

To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.

This is a part-time role, ideally working Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, plus a Saturday morning clinic (8am–12pm). We’re happy to be flexible and discuss a rota that works best for you.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract for 1 year (maternity cover), with the possibility of a permanent position depending on business needs.
