Our Blackpool Squires Gate practice is situated on a vibrant retail park, surrounded by a variety of shops, cafés, and eateries, just a short walk from the beach and only 6 minutes from the motorway. Manchester and Liverpool airports are both under an hour’s drive, and for non-drivers, the area is well-served by trams, trains, buses, and taxis. Meanwhile, our Lancaster practice is conveniently located near local transport links, including bus routes and a train station, and less than 30 minutes from the stunning Lake District. Lancaster Vets for Pets is a collaborative, inclusive, and welcoming environment where both clients and colleagues feel valued.

Our fully air-conditioned, RCVS-accredited surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards. We provide separate dog, cat, and exotic wards to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of all our patients.  Alongside our in-house advanced practitioner dermatology service, we also now offer laparoscopy. Our state-of-the-art facilities include three consulting rooms, a large treatment area, digital and dental x-rays, ultrasound, Imagyst cytology, and capnography. In addition, we benefit from a peripatetic orthopaedic service provided by our sister practice.

About the Role: 

As a growing practice we are always interested in hearing from local talent interested in working with us, because everyone is at different stages in their veterinary career, we are open to speak to anyone. If you are an experienced RVN looking for a new challenge or newly qualified nurse looking for your first role, we would love to hear from you.

To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
