Description:

Our busy small animal practice in Redhill is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team.

About us
We are a happy, well-established practice providing clients with a high standard of clinical care while maintaining a compassionate approach to everything we do. The practice is purpose-built, offers plentiful free on-site parking, and is fully equipped with modern facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, Doppler, ECG, and pulse oximetry.

Redhill benefits from excellent transport links by road, rail, and air—just a 20-minute drive or 15-minute direct train to Gatwick Airport, and only 30 minutes from London by train. The area is also surrounded by the natural beauty of the North Downs, with nearby flooded quarries offering fantastic opportunities for wildlife and birdwatching.

Our supportive team includes 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs, a dedicated reception team, and a Practice Manager, all working together to create a positive and collaborative working environment.

About you
You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, helping to ensure the highest standards of care for both patients and clients. Our nurses are at the heart of the practice, performing an essential clinical role and making a real difference to patient wellbeing.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, take pride in your work, and consistently strive to deliver care to a high standard. You will be keen to develop your understanding of the practice as a business and show an interest in motivating and supporting a team to achieve both individual and practice goals. Key to your success will be your willingness to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role while providing outstanding patient and client care.

A strong foundation in general nursing is essential, along with a genuine passion and dedication to delivering exceptional service to our clients and their animals.

Our nurses are actively encouraged to undertake Schedule 3 tasks. Experience in clinical coaching would be an advantage but is not essential.

About the role
This is a full-time position, although part-time hours may be considered. Full-time hours average 40 per week, worked across a 4-day rota to promote an excellent work–life balance. The role also includes participation in a 1-in-4 Saturday rota.
