Description:

Exciting things are happening at Epsom Vets for Pets, and we’d love you to be part of it.

As our small animal training practice continues to grow and thrive, we’re expanding our team and offering a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive, and progressive practice.

Whether you’re newly qualified and looking for the perfect place to launch your career, or an experienced RVN ready for your next step, this could be the role for you.

Why Join Us?

At Epsom, your ideas matter. Your development matters. And you absolutely matter.
We’re proud to have built a collaborative, welcoming environment where learning is encouraged, career progression is supported, and teamwork is everything.

Our Head Nurse is stepping into a Practice Manager role, and our Deputy Head Nurse who we trained and mentored is progressing into Head Nurse. That’s the kind of development culture we believe in.

Our Practice

Our purpose-built, modern practice is conveniently located close to Epsom town centre, just a 7-minute walk from Epsom train station, with plenty of on-site parking. We’re fully equipped with:

  • Digital X-ray
  • Ultrasound with Doppler
  • A growing orthopaedic kit
  • Separate dog and cat wards to reduce patient stress

We also work closely with peripatetic orthopaedic and cardiac specialists, allowing us to manage more advanced procedures and in-depth case workups in-house which means fantastic exposure and learning opportunities for our nursing team.

Our Team

You’ll be joining a dedicated, fun, and hardworking team of:

  • 3 Vets
  • 3 RVNs
  • 2 Student Veterinary Nurses
  • 2 VCAs
  • 2 Receptionists
  • A Practice Manager

All led by Lenesa Govender, our Lead Vet and Practice Owner, who opened the practice in 2016 and brings 18+ years of veterinary experience, much of it in senior roles.

Lenesa is passionate about continuous learning, professional growth, and building meaningful relationships with clients. Our ethos is simple: we treat every pet as if they were our own.

About You

We’re looking for an RVN who:

  • Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Takes pride in working to high clinical standards
  • Enjoys being an active part of a team
  • Is interested in personal development and understanding how a practice operates

Nurses are the heart of our practice. You’ll play an integral clinical role in patient care while helping support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

The Role

  • Full-time or part-time (up to 40 hours per week)
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays
  • No out-of-hours
  • Flexible shift discussions available

We understand how important work–life balance is, and we’re happy to have open conversations about what works best for you.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary up to £34,000 DOE
  • No OOH
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Paid memberships (BVNA, RCVS, VDS)
  • Dedicated CPD allowance
  • 20% discount at Vets for Pets, Pets at Home & The Groom Room
  • Exclusive company rewards and benefits
