Registered Veterinary Nurse

We’re looking for a new team member and would love to welcome an enthusiastic and motivated RVN or SVN to join us.

Our close-knit and supportive team is excited to find the right person to become part of our fun and balanced working environment. At Leicester Central Vets for Pets, we want our nurses to feel truly valued and empowered to nurse — making full use of their skills, from phlebotomy and lab analysis to Schedule 3 procedures.

Have an interest in exotics? You’ll be supported by our dedicated exotics vet, alongside our experienced general practitioner, giving you the opportunity to broaden your clinical exposure and develop your interests.

The Position: 

• Competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum
• 40 hours per week, between 8:30am–7:00pm (with consideration for a 4-day week)
• Evenly shared early and late shifts: 8:30am–4:30pm or 11:00am–7:00pm
• Currently no weekends, with the potential for 1 in 4 in the future as we expand our vet team
• No OOH
• RCVS fees paid, with the opportunity to become a BVNA member
• Duties shared equally, offering a great mix of theatre, prep, recovery, inpatient care and nurse consults
• 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays (shared), within a flexible and supportive team

• Enjoys meeting clients (even the challenging ones!), building relationships with them and getting to know them and their pets.
