Description: 

An exciting opportunity has become available at Cardiff Bay Vets for Pets for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.

Our purpose-built, fully equipped hospital enables us to deliver a consistently high standard of clinical care. You will join a supportive and collaborative team comprising 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistants, a Practice Manager, and 5 Client Care Advisors.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make full use of your nursing skills. Your responsibilities will include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthesia, assisting with patient recovery, and supporting discharges. You will also be well supported by our VCAs, particularly with theatre turnaround and patient preparation.

To be successful in this role, you will have solid general nursing experience, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic approach, along with a genuine passion for animal welfare. Additional desirable attributes include honesty, integrity and a good sense of humour.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week (details of shifts to be confirmed).
