Registered Veterinary Nurse

Are you an enthusiastic and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a genuinely friendly and supportive practice?

Our Vets for Pets surgery in Lichfield is looking for an RVN to join our experienced team on a permanent, part-time basis.

About our practice

You’ll be joining a close-knit team consisting of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse and 4 Receptionists. We’re a team that genuinely supports one another and enjoys working together. 

We want everyone to enjoy coming to work, but we also understand that life can sometimes be challenging. Our practice is a safe and supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to share their thoughts, support one another and help each other through the more difficult days.

We’re now looking forward to welcoming another nurse who shares our values, enjoys being part of a team and is passionate about playing an active role within the local community.

The role

This is a part-time position of approximately 27 to 36 hours per week, working Monday to Friday on a rota basis. We can offer some flexibility around working hours, so we’re happy to discuss a pattern that works for both you and the practice. There are currently no weekend requirements

We’re happy to hear from RVNs who enjoy consulting, as well as those who have a particular area of interest or passion within veterinary nursing that they would love to bring to the practice.

You’ll ideally have:

•    Previous experience within veterinary nursing
•    Excellent communication and customer service skills
•    A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork
•    Strong planning and organisational skills
•    A practical and considered approach to decision-making
•    A genuine passion for animal welfare
•    An enthusiasm for providing a great experience for our clients and their pets
