Registered Veterinary Nurse - Salary up to £32,000
Handforth, PTE, SK9 3RN
If you are a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a highly valued and friendly team, then we would love to hear from you, here at Peterborough Companion Care!
This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys a varied role and wants to work in a genuinely supportive, team-focussed environment where nurses are valued and encouraged to thrive.
Our partners Megan, Adrian, and Joe are dedicated to a supportive culture and recognise their nurses as the central core of the entire team. You’ll also be joining 4 other experienced nurses, 3 SVNs, 4 vets and 4 receptionists. We’re a welcoming and collaborative team that prides itself on having a respectful and positive culture.
The role involves a full range of RVN duties within a busy first-opinion practice setting, including nurse consultations, theatre work, anaesthesia and inpatient care. We will fully empower you to utilise your skills and experience through actively supporting nurse clinics and, crucially, Schedule 3 procedures. And we actively encourage skill development and welcome nurses who want to grow their confidence and interests.
You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard of patient and client care. Your experience will be integral not only in caring for patients but also in mentoring our three student nurses.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week and 1 in 4 Saturdays. There are no out-of-hours duties, ensuring a fantastic work-life balance.
