Description: 

We are looking for an additional rehabilitation team member to join our Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic at Barnsley Vets4pets.

The role involves working alongside our veterinary surgeons and nurses, within our fast-pace and ever-growing Hospital.

We hope to find a motivated person who will embrace the responsibility of this position, and is keen to learn new skills.

This role is suitable for qualified for RVN with trained rehab background or a qualified hydrotherapist.

The role will suit somebody that can work well within a team, but is also self motivated, and somebody that pays great attention to detail, as well as enjoys multitasking.
 
Some of the responsibilities and duties that can be expected:

  • Running rehab clinics for post surgical cases
  • Using our therapeutic laser after orthopaedic surgeries, wound repairs etc
  • Using our hydrotherapy treadmill for the rehabilitation of orthopaedic cases and weight loss patients
  • Following strict infection control procedures to maintain a clean, clinical working environment at hospital standard.

Hours:
To be discussed, but will likely be 4 x10hr shifts which will include Sundays.
