Description:

Senior Client Care Advisor

We are currently seeking a senior client care advisor to join our friendly and dynamic client care team.  This role would be suited to someone with previous relevant experience and a desire to progress and develop within the role. Experience within a veterinary or clinical setting is preferred, but not essential.

Veterinary client care advisors do so much more than answer the phone!  The role is busy, challenging and diverse – no two days are the same, and so we are looking for an outgoing, positive and articulate individual who is a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate must be a client focused individual who can demonstrate an aptitude for multi-tasking. This role does not involve animal handling, although a love for animals goes without saying; and you must also show willingness to learn, proficient IT skills and an excellent telephone manner.

Vets for Pets Amesbury is a standalone, small animal practice, with approachable, supportive partners and a fabulous team of vets, nurses and client care advisors. The client care team is overseen by our practice owners and practice administrators who guide the team to operate to the highest of standards whilst also ensuring job satisfaction and an excellent work life balance.

As a senior client care advisor for our surgery, you will be assisting the clinical team with the day to day work flow of the practice, taking ownership of certain key aspects of day to day administration critical to practice function. You will be expected to model the highest standards of professional behaviour, as well as demonstrating a higher level of responsibility; with duties including (but not limited to):

  • Managing, coordinating and organising the client care team and the reception desk with an emphasis on providing a professional service to clients and their pets; and creating an efficient and welcoming reception area.
  • Managing and dealing with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner using the in-practice database system, being sensitive to client needs and promoting a professional image at all times.
  • Building effective professional relationships with clients to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Developing and maintaining current product and service knowledge and advising where necessary in line with company protocols.
  • Working within a team to ensure that the reception and other areas of the practice are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Showing an awareness of financial controls within the practice, including banking.

We are able to offer a competitive salary dependent on experience, as well as company benefits, exclusive group discounts and online benefits.

The position will cover 20-25 hrs per  week which will be a combination of morning and afternoon shifts, with Saturday mornings to be covered on shared rota.

If you would like to become a part of this incredible team, working with exceptional colleagues, in our modern, state of the art veterinary surgery, then please send your CV and covering letter to Sonia.roffesilvester@vets4pets.com
