Veterinary Care Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Bournemouth Vets for Pets practice. 

Bournemouth Vets for Pets has been locally owned and run by our partners for over 20 years, has an excellent local reputation and has grown to one of the biggest Veterinary clinics in the area. Our practice is bright, spacious, purpose built to industry leading standards and has great facilities including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. The surgery is a registered Veterinary Nurse training practice.

You will join a team of 7 vets plus our team of nurses and support colleagues. You will assist all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care. 

This a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop animal care skills in a veterinary environment. 

Full and Time positions available working up to 40 per week including Saturdays on a rota basis.

• You can deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet.  
• Your personality is infectious and along with your fellow colleagues, you create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.
