Description: 

We’re delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Hedge End Vets for Pets.

Our bright, spacious, and air-conditioned practice has been purpose-built to industry-leading standards and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital X-ray facilities and an in-house laboratory.

In this role, you’ll support colleagues with a range of non-clinical duties to help ensure the smooth running of the practice and deliver the highest standard of patient care.

This position is ideal for someone looking to progress into a Student Veterinary Nurse role in the future.

This is a Full-Time role working 38 hours per week

  • You stay fully informed about all practice services, enabling you to confidently guide clients when needed.

  • You can handle a wide range of situations—providing comfort during difficult moments and celebrating the happier ones, such as a puppy’s first visit.
  • Your positive, engaging personality helps create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for both clients and colleagues.
