Veterinary Surgeon - A new start in the New Year!

Salary up to £60,000 pro rata. Standalone Practice. No OOH. Flexible Hours

From early 2026 we are excited have an opportunity to expand our vet team once again. We are keen to explore all options around this and are currently flexible as to what this might look like. We are looking to hear from vets looking for full time, part time, or even fixed term contracts. 

We would also be in a position to support a more recent graduate for the right candidate. We’re proud of our standalone practice which holds RCVS GP status as part of the Practice Standards Scheme. We have also been at the forefront of colleague wellness and previously received a ‘Highly Commended’ in the Veterinary Wellbeing awards.

This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work with a strong and supportive team, led by Practice Owner Lee Middleton MRCVS CertAVP. Being locally owned means clinical and operational decisions are made by Lee and always with the needs of the team and clients at the forefront. Since Lee became practice owner in 2024, the business has also invested over £40k in facilities and equipment, with more to come next year. 
 
As mentioned, we are open to flexible working hours, which will typically include 1:3 Saturday mornings working between 8.30am-12 noon. There is no OOH requirement, and we are closed on Sunday’s allowing for an excellent work/life balance!

Located conveniently in the charming town of Grantham, we’re spoilt for choice for food outlets which include McDonalds, Subway and M&S to name a few. We also have an array of shops nearby including Sports Direct & Dunelm – we even have a Pure Gym on our doorstep should you want to pump some iron before/after work! 

If you’re looking to venture further afield, we have Grantham train station down the road giving you access to direct train routes to London, Edinburgh and Nottingham.
