About us:
We are Vets for Pets but we are very similar to an independently run practice.
Selly Oak and Quinton practices are close to Birmingham City Centre and very well connected by road and train. They are also close to beautiful countryside.
You will work across both of our sites which are well staffed with supportive, experienced teams. By working across both of our practices you will be able to gain a unique involvement with a diverse range of cases and patients. We have a surgery certificate holder and a feline internal medicine certificate ongoing and encourage and support all of our vets to do certificates.
The practice is fully equipped giving you access to Digital radiography, dental radiography, new ultrasound machines, in-house lab etc.
Our ideal new colleague will have good surgical and medical skills and enjoy variety within the role. You should have excellent client skills, be friendly and have a genuine interest in animal welfare.
The role is ideally full time, but part time can be considered. The weekend rota is 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am to 2pm).
Team fit is really important to us, and we want you to feel happy coming to work with us each day, so if you'd like to visit us for an informal chat, or speak with any of the team confidentially, we can arrange this.
If you would like to hear more, please contact Rachael.bury@vets4pets.com and someone will get back to you within 1 working day
Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
