About us
Our practice is based inside the busy Pets at Home store on the Madford Retail Park, giving the team great exposure to varied cases and a loyal client base.
Our practice partner, Marina Scoffone, qualified at the University of Turin in 1993 and has a special interest in Soft Tissue Surgery and a Masters in Clinical Oncology from University of Birmingham. Marina has 31 years of experience and enjoys all aspects of Veterinary science; she has enjoyed training new graduates over the last 3 decades.
“Marina, our Practice Owner, is very trusting of her Nurses which is refreshing and allows us to practice our skills and learn new skills, too. We have a lot of autonomy at Hertford, and it is a well-equipped practice. Marina is very hot on her Standard Operating Procedures which gives incredible security so that you know what you’re doing at any given time and can always refer to the SOP. I came to Hertford for a new opportunity and am very thankful for a wonderful and supportive team who work well together.” – Tilly Carling, RVN Hertford
You will be joining a hard-working and supportive team of 1 Vet and locum vets covering various days. We currently have a team of 2 RVNs and are supported by two VCAs and 1 receptionist who together have a vast knowledge varying from medical to IT.
"Vets for Pets Hertford is a wonderful clinic. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming. The clients are very nice and show great responsibility towards their pets. The clinic makes sure you always have your lunch break and finish on time. Recommend it to everyone as a nice place to work, and would love to come back when I am back in the country" - Pavel Khan MRCVS
