Veterinary Surgeon

Our delightful veterinary practice in Blackheath, London enjoys an excellent reputation within the group and local community. Based on the route of the London Marathon, we are within easy reach of Central London whilst benefitting from our close proximity to historic Greenwich and three London airports. You can reach us by train, DLR or road and we offer free onsite parking.

We are lucky to have a very varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits and small furries! Our partner, Idara, has a passion for exotics. Our practice also benefits from one vet working towards their certificate in small animal surgery and another going through an Advanced practitioner status in small animal medicine. We are keen to develop talent so if you have a particular area of interest, we could be the practice for you!

Our modern, well-equipped practice is purpose built to industry leading standards and has digital X-ray, ultrasound, lab and pharmacy facilities. You will be joining a team of 1 full time vet, 2 part time vets, 2 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s, 1 VCA, 3 client care advisors and a practice manager. 

About you:

You will be confident with all routine medical and surgical cases. We are looking for a confident Vet with 3/4 years’ experience and an interest in exotics would be desirable but not essential.

We are very proud of the service we provide to our clients and have received lots of positive feedback including “best vets ever!” and “lovely team who were very helpful” therefore you will also need to enjoy the relationship building side of the role.

We are looking for a full or part time Vet to join us, offering 23 – 40 hours per week with a weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays. You will have sole charge responsibility on occasion but no OOH ensuring a healthy work/life balance.
