Veterinary Surgeon

We are currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon in the Mapperley area of Nottinghamshire to join our expanding, fast paced team of small animal practitioners.
Our team takes pride in delivering the highest level of care to both our patients and clients, which has helped us grow our client base significantly. We are proud to be a Gold Cat Friendly Clinic and an RCVS-accredited Training Practice.
About us:
Located near the beautiful Peak District and the city centre, our Mapperley practice features bright, spacious and modern facilities. This includes our in-house dental x-ray, digital x-ray, labs, separate wards- for dogs, cats and rabbits to name a few. We are proud to have our own laparoscopy equipment, and this enables us to have the capacity to regularly perform laparoscopic spays and cystoscopy.
The current team consists of 5 veterinary surgeons all with a huge range of experience. Many of our surgeons hold (or are working towards) certificates and this includes Exotics and Surgical. We have a vet working towards an Imaging certificate and our Lead Vet has a strong interest in Dentistry. As a result, we have a huge variety in terms of caseloads each day and you would have the opportunity to work within this fast-paced environment.
Our surgeons work alongside a fantastic team of dedicated RVNs with a team size of 5 and a knowledgeable support team of 7 receptionists.
Our focus is excellent client care, with our main priority on pet welfare standards whilst enjoying working in a team environment with likeminded individuals. So, if you are a confident vet who is looking for a care driven, varied and team focused surgery- then we would love to hear from you!
This role is full time (40 hours per week) with a 1 in 5 weekend rota (Saturday 9am-4:30pm & Sunday 10am-3:30pm.) No OOH.
