An exciting opportunity has arisen at our successful Fareham Collingwood Companion Care practice. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon, to join our friendly, professional team on a full-time basis.
Our purpose-built surgery is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including: Vivid IQ Ultrasound with high-spec colour flow, ECG and K-Laser, In-house laboratory, Digital X-ray (including dental), Endoscope, tonopen, and blood pressure machine, Multi-parameter GA monitor and fully equipped operating theatre.
We have a high percentage of insured clients, enabling thorough case work-ups. You’ll also benefit from working alongside a veterinary surgeon with a Diagnostic Imagining and cardiology certificate and a veterinary surgeon with a Master’s Degree in Companion Animal Internal Medicine, plus a supportive team of RVNs, SVNs, VCA, Receptionists, and a Practice Manager.
What we’re looking for:
Applicants should be strong communicators with solid theoretical medical knowledge supporting the management of our day-to-day medical and surgical cases. This role would suit a veterinary surgeon with at least 2-3 years’ experience, however, as a VetGDP practice, we would consider a UK new graduate.
This role will be 40 hours per week, which will involve working 1:4 Saturdays on a rota basis.
