If you are an enthusiastic vet looking to join a great team in a fantastic location, then we have the role for you here at Buckingham Vets4Pets.
You’ll be joining a small, hardworking team dedicated to excellent customer service and pet health care. The team consists of practice owner / head vet, 1 full time & 1 part time vet, practice coordinator, head nurse, 3 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses, 1 veterinary care assistant and 3 receptionists. Our team is supported by an amazing team of locum vets and nurses who work regular days with us, testament to the welcome and support they receive from our permanent colleagues.
Since opening our doors 10 years ago we have grown a lovely client base and have an excellent varied case load for a first opinion practice. We pride ourselves on providing all clients with the highest level of clinical and client care in a professional and reliable manner.
Our modern practice includes a well-equipped operating theatre, multiple consult rooms, digital x-ray, isolation unit, separate dog/cat wards, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and Laser therapy.

The weekend rota is built around 1 in 3 Saturday’s (8am – 6pm) but this is something we are happy to discuss.
There is a mixture of consults and ops time, with time to build cases and develop your skills and bonds with clients.
In return, we’re looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon with great communication skills and a good grasp of a first opinion practice and capable of sole charge. You will be able to work well within a team who are always on hand to support one another.
You will have the opportunity to work up cases and have a share of routine and non-routine consultations, as well as frequent surgeries.
