Veterinary Surgeon – Farnham Vets for Pets 

Salary up to £78,000 + excellent benefits 

At Farnham Vets for Pets, we’ve recently taken ownership of the practice and have exciting plans for introducing new services. We’re now looking for an experienced and ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to join us on this journey and play a key role in shaping the future of our practice.

We’re seeking a confident, dynamic and motivated vet to become part of our friendly, close-knit, and forward-thinking team.

Our New Practice Owners

Our owners bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to clinical excellence and team development:

  • Kirsty – 15 years qualified, holds a surgical certificate, with a background in hospital practice and particular interests in regenerative medicine and chronic pain management 
  • James – 14 years’ experience, specialising in physiotherapy and arthritis management. He leads business development and is driving the introduction of gold-standard rehabilitation services. James is passionate about supporting career progression and fostering a positive, progressive working environment 

Our Team

You’ll be supported by a highly skilled and collaborative clinical team:

  • Amir – strong interest in surgery
  • Cathy - enjoys both medicine and surgery
  • Ezgi – currently undertaking a certificate in diagnostic imaging
  • Emma – thrives on complex medical cases 

Our Facilities

Our purpose-built practice is designed to deliver the highest clinical standards, with excellent facilities including:

  • Two operating theatres
  • Dedicated imaging/theatre room
  • In-house diagnostics and advanced equipment including syringe drivers, drip pumps, multiparameter monitoring, capnography, doppler, suction, diathermy, dental radiography, tonopen, ultrasound, and a PRP machine
  • Future plans will include onsite Hydrotherapy/ Physiotherapy to benefit our arthritic and Orthopaedic patients.

We manage the majority of cases in-house, including advanced procedures such as stem cell therapy and PRP intra-articular injections, and are supported by visiting orthopaedic, cardiology and ophthalmology specialists.

The Role & Culture

With a loyal and growing client base, you’ll have the opportunity to work cases up locally while developing your own clinical interests. Certification is actively encouraged and fully funded. We value collaboration and innovation—if you bring new ideas or CPD experience, we’d love to hear them.
