About Us
Cirencester Vets4Pets is a locally owned, bright, air-conditioned surgery purpose built to industry leading standards and very well equipped with all the kit you’d expect from a thriving GP practice, as well as being based on a lovely and sunny mezzanine, with external windows.
We have digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, scenography, in-house lab, advanced airway management systems for rabbits and cats, plus separate wards for dogs, cats and exotics. Our cat ward is state of the art low stress accommodation.

Our team
You’ll be joining a very experienced and skilled team, led by vet and practice owner Martina who opened her practice in Cirencester 10 years ago. Working alongside Martina are also 2 experienced vets with over 30 years of experience between them.
Our vet team are supported by an equally talented team of nurses as well as a team of friendly and professional client care advisors, with Martina also being a fully trained Mental Health First Aider.
The role
This is a full time position approximately 37.5 hours per week, working 8:30am to 6pm four days a week (one week day off) and 1:4 Saturdays 9am to 6pm and with a 30 min unpaid lunch.
Our days are structured well with a set ops day / week and afternoons are always consults with 15 minutes given for standard consults and admin time factored into each block.
We also make sure the last appointment is booked at 5:15pm to allow everyone to finish on time.
Vets usually always work alongside one or two other vets except for on Saturdays and Bank Holidays where sole charge is required, along with a nurse and receptionist.
Our passion is to provide healthcare with low stress methods, and we are keen to educate our customers and enable them to take an active part and understanding in their pets’ wellbeing. Everyone here is keen to make sure all our customers and their pets receive compassionate and caring service, tailored to their needs.
We have a growing client base, with a mix of young, healthy pets requiring preventative health care, but also a growing number of interesting medical cases. We have a visiting orthopedic surgeon. Our patient base is dogs>cats>small furries (rabbits & guinea pigs).
About you
In return for working in a great practice with a wonderfully supportive and friendly team, we are looking for a competent vet with previous experience in a small animal GP practice, and a team player, who will be enthusiastic and self-motivated and someone willing and able to work sole charge, with good general surgical and medical skills.
