About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to become an integral part of our growing team. We’re able to accommodate either full time or part time hours to suit with weekends on a fair 1 in 4 rota. Importantly, there are no out-of-hours requirements, giving you a genuine work-life balance in the stunning city of Exeter.
About Us
Our long-standing established team of 4 vets are friendly & supportive with a good blend of surgical and medical bias. We deal with a wide variety of medical and surgical cases on a daily basis and have a visiting specialist orthopaedic and ultrasonographer to support more challenging cases. Our strong nursing team are experienced with certificate holders in anaesthesia and dentistry. You’ll be working in a light, spacious and air-conditioned environment with access to state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray, new IM 3 dental machine and digital dental x-ray.

About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon who is ready to make their mark and help grow the practice further. Ideally, you will:
- Be RCVS-registered with experience in small animal practice
- Be confident with routine procedures, both surgical and medical
- Bring excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues alike
- Enjoy working as part of a team while being comfortable with sole charge when required
- Have (or be keen to develop) a specific area of interest — we’re happy to support certificates and further study
