We’re opening a new, purpose-built locally owned Vets for Pets surgery in Linlithgow, and we’re looking for to join us on this exciting journey.
Our brand-new practice has been thoughtfully designed to support both clinical excellence and colleague wellbeing from day one.
Our Practice Owner is a proud local who grew up in Linlithgow and has been an active member of the community for many years. Their vision is to create a truly local, “village feel” veterinary practice - one that provides exceptional care to the community they call home.

You’ll be working in a bright, spacious, air-conditioned environment equipped with the latest technology expected from a modern, high-standard Vets for Pets clinic. Our facilities will include:
- Digital and dental X-ray
- Ultrasound
- Multi-parameter monitoring
- Full in-house laboratory (haematology, biochemistry, urinalysis, microscope)
- Separate cat and dog wards
- Dedicated theatre
- Well-organised prep area
- Isolation room
- Comfortable, modern consult rooms
- Separate staff room
Every aspect of our clinic — from equipment to layout — has been carefully designed to enable outstanding clinical care, efficient workflows, and a welcoming experience for both clients and their pets.
Our new practice offers the ideal environment, a diverse caseload, and high-quality equipment to help you maximise your existing skills while continuing to grow professionally. About you and the role
We’re seeking a proactive, enthusiastic team player to join our progressive, personable first-opinion practice, where high clinical standards are always a priority.
You’ll be a confident and motivated RVN with some experience, ready to take the next step in your career.
Schedule 3, taking radiographs and carrying out nurse consultation experience is important as we want everyone to work to their strengths. An interest in — or experience as — a Clinical Coach would be a distinct advantage, though not essential.
Success in this role comes from embracing all aspects of the veterinary nursing position and consistently delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. From day one, you’ll have the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the practice, contributing ideas, and making a genuine impact on its growth and development.
As a brand-new practice, we can offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. We’re committed to supporting a healthy work/life balance and are happy to discuss flexible shift patterns to suit your individual needs. Some Saturday work will be required, but there are no out-of-hours duties.
