Registered Veterinary Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our new, small animal practice - Speke Vets for Pets. We are looking for a part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive and welcoming team. They would be working alongside our head nurse, VCA and 2 vets. 

About Us: 
The purpose-built surgery, which opened in September 2025, is located within our Speke Pets at Home store. It has been thoughtfully designed to provide both the highest standards of clinical care and a comfortable, enjoyable working environment for the entire team. The practice is fully equipped with modern facilities including digital and dental x-rays, high spec ultrasound machine, a dedicated theatre, and separate wards for cats, dogs, and isolation cases. 

Our practice owner has a keen interest in Opthalmology so the practice also possesses a tonovet, slit lamp and indirect lens. 
 
Our new practice offers the ideal setting and caseload to make full use of the skills you have developed so far, while also providing excellent opportunities for continued growth. We actively support further qualifications and ongoing CPD to help our team progress in their careers.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a progressive, fast-paced first opinion practice with high clinical standards. You’ll be a confident and motivated RVN with some experience behind you.
 
Success in this role will come from your willingness to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role while delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’ll also have the exciting opportunity to help shape and develop the practice from the very beginning
 
This is a Part-Time position working 22 hours per week. Flexible for the right candidate. 
 
Ideally: Wednesday 8:30 – 6:30 / Friday 8:30 – 6:30 / Saturday: 8:30 – 1:30 (Bi weekly)
