Registered Veterinary Nurse

An exciting opportunity has become available at our Gillingham Vets for Pets small animal practice for a passionate and dedicated Experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team.

Our purpose-built, fully equipped surgery provides an excellent environment for delivering high-quality clinical care. You will be joining a welcoming team of 3 Vets, 2 Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, 1 Practice Manager, and 6 Client Care Advisors.

In this role, you will have the chance to utilise your nursing skills to their fullest. Your responsibilities will include admitting and discharging patients, monitoring anaesthetics and recoveries, providing in-patient nursing care, running nurse clinics, taking radiographs, and assisting with surgery and diagnostic procedures. You will also benefit from the support of our VCA with theatre turnaround and patient preparation.

To be successful, you should bring strong general nursing experience and excellent customer service skills. We’re looking for someone cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for animal welfare.

This is a Full-Time role working 40 hour per week with 1 in 4 weekends
